STRAIGHT ANSWERS — THE ONLY KIND WE STOCK

Fair questions

Everything people ask before they hire us, answered the way we'd answer at your kitchen table. Didn't cover yours? Call (414) 555-0187 — asking is free.

Are you really available 24/7?

Yes — a licensed plumber answers our line around the clock, 365 days a year. Not an answering service, not a call center: one of our own techs on a paid on-call rotation. Office hours for scheduled work are Monday–Friday, 7 to 5.

Do you charge extra for nights, weekends, or holidays?

No. Same flat-rate book at 2 a.m. Sunday as 2 p.m. Tuesday. Emergency calls carry an $89 dispatch fee that's waived when you approve the repair — that's the whole story, and you'll hear it on the phone before a van moves.

How does flat-rate pricing work?

Before any work starts, the tech diagnoses the problem and quotes the complete job from our price book — parts, labor, cleanup, permit if needed. You approve the number or you don't. The price we quote is the price you pay, even if the job runs long. Surprises on the invoice are how plumbing companies lose 35-year reputations, so we don't have them.

Are your plumbers licensed and insured?

Every tech works under Wisconsin Master Plumber license #MP-267145, and the company carries full liability and workers' comp coverage. Our plumbers are employees — background-checked, trained in-house, and driving our vans. We don't send subcontractors to your door.

What's your service warranty?

One year on labor for every repair and install, on top of the manufacturer's parts warranty (up to 6 years on water heater tanks, 3–5 on sump pumps). If our work fails inside a year, we come back and make it right — no charge, no argument.

Which areas do you serve?

Milwaukee and the surrounding county: Wauwatosa, West Allis, Greenfield, Brookfield, New Berlin, Oak Creek, Franklin, Shorewood, and Whitefish Bay. The shop is in Bay View, so the south side is our fastest territory — but eleven vans cover the whole map daily.

Can you give me a price over the phone?

For straightforward jobs, yes — water heater replacements, faucet installs, camera inspections all have flat book prices we'll quote on the call. For anything diagnostic (leaks, backups, no-hot-water), we quote firm at the house after the tech has eyes on it, because guessing over the phone is how you get a number that changes later.

Do you pull permits?

Always, when the work requires one — water heaters, gas lines, sewer repairs, remodel rough-in. We pull it, we schedule the inspector, we meet them at the house, and it's included in the flat price. Unpermitted work bites you at resale; we won't do it.

Do you work on old houses?

It's our specialty. Stan built this company on Milwaukee's pre-war housing — galvanized supply, cast iron stacks, clay laterals, plaster walls. Our techs are trained to open old work surgically and match what's sound instead of tearing out everything they don't recognize.

How do I pay, and do you offer financing?

Card, check, or cash at completion; invoicing available for landlords and property managers with net-15 terms. For big-ticket work like repipes and lateral replacements, we offer 12-month same-as-cash financing through a Wisconsin credit union partner — ask when you book.

Water where it shouldn't be?

A licensed plumber answers day or night. Flat-rate quote before we start, no overtime charge — nights, weekends, holidays.
